amazing how time flies as we live our helix paths of life... adopted from a favorite blog...
together intertwining...
family, friends, the future looms.
loving, living lives... happy late august. many musical moments. stars swirling and waves of energy, water, sound, light... life, fish nibbling at our feet as we cooled our bodies in the salt water of the dock and boat ramp yesterday afternoon to breathe.
We missed the high tide with art projects in the yard. so were reduced to walking down the boat ramp and jumping off the dinghy dock. Lovely still to cool.
watercolor clouds for my sister-in-law, kids knotting colorful summer bracelets, and my 14 year old rainbow girl painting a union jack Brittish flag on weathered and torn burlap for her wall and latest figure skating song plans of London Calling.... had us calling our Manchester UK friend for a mission to find a weathered union jack t. Fun summer days of unstructured life drawing to a close as we stock the hacienda for fall lunches and the pack-it-all-up trek to a new University for our "twizzle"girl scout camp counseling nature specialist and lifeguard.... shuffling sand covered feet in grass before showers... warm porch boards and naps in the sun, dinners on the patio surrounded by perennials, hummingbirds, and line dried towels. loving all the moments... each one a step to the future. love, light and peace to all. especially starlight

snowy days....
It's March and still snowing on Cape Cod. We have a good 2+ feet of snow and it's still coming down. So pretty. Many complaining... not me. Trying to unfreeze the ice on the roof and get on with life. I love the snow, just wish it would melt a little. It does feel a little glacial, layers of the white stuff, some blue visible if you look deep enough. Soon enough it will be gone, the peepers and bugs will arrive to spring showers and flowers. Then the sunshine will warm the local earth until it all happens again. Spring then summer solstices, vegetables and herbs, and barbecue smells, then leaves falling. Peace

cold rain replacing snowflakes....
It's an early February New England afternoon. School was cancelled yesterday for the 5th consecutive day. Have loved snowflakes falling and blustery weather. Blizzards and whipping winds... shoveling, ice skating, skiing, and plowed and replowed roads. Currently rivers gush under heaps of compacting snow piles.... Cozy with my glittery ladybug. Rainbow girl finally got her top row of braces adhered this morning. The colors she chose to adorn her teeth jewelery, turquoise and rose. Very lovely indeed... we'll see the sun again one day soon. I will be very grateful at that moment! Cheers and tea to you.

new year...... the ram.... 2015... another day... second....
well, the new year has arrived. school break and family visits. road trips, packages and cards out... days pass and school resumes. Projects, for the effervescent rainbow girl and wisdom teeth removal for the sparkly ladybug. Coldness and chill on cheeks. Muted winter colors, snow and ice. The bogs are frozen on Cape Cod... ice skating and shinney (informal hockey)..... says my Canuck boyfriend, bog hockey... so pretty out. He ran to Woods Hole and we swam at the pool trying to get in shape for the spring and coming triathlon season... spring, it's just around the corner. Hopefully we'll get to ski soon.
