mid october.... bright, brilliant, color.

...love this time of year. anniversaries.... kids in school and gearing up for winter.... gathering wood, cleaning up the yard, projects for school and life projects culminating as the days grow shorter. Light is bright, clear, vivid, and precious. Harvests of apples and cranberries, squash, leafy vegetables,
sustenance of soul morphing into preserves, soups and roasts. yum. delicacies of life abound and leaves floating to the ground make such lovely sounds as we walk along our intermingling paths of shared lives.

We are well into the new school year and time is flying by. Our regular activities of ice skating, piano, homework, gymnastics, and new for this year the quest for the perfect college are dominating our time. Household chores and yard projects have us busy too. Winter is coming... Halloween will be here and then Thanksgiving and Christmas too. Trying to stay ahead of the curve...
