Today is such a departure from the recent hazy, hot, and excessively humid days. A night of coolness has been good to replenish the soul. The morning feels close with cool air on skin, warmth of critters on the bed, and birds chirping songs entering through the open windows.
Time is ticking along in increments. Ted arrives after work and a three plus hour drive. I will go to pick Ness up from writer's workshop camp at mid-day tomorrow. Gabrielle will wake when she has rested.
I wish for goodness in the world today, for the safety of my family and friends. For love to heal pain from loss, and for people to find their compassionate and tolerant side.
